1. Artificial Sweeteners

There are many artificial sweeteners, although this is basically a general term. The most common one is aspartame, which is considered neurotoxic and carcinogenic. Food items labeled as “sugar free” or “no sugar” are a total lie because they use artificial sweeteners instead. Don’t be victimized by some gimmicks or else you’re going to suffer from frequent headaches, migraines, sudden weight gain or serious illnesses, which may include diabetes, obesity, chronic fatigue, cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease.
2. High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS)
A very common form of sugar in commercial food packs and even drinks, high fructose corn syrup is a type of refined artificial sweetener. Based on studies, this is the number one source of calories taken by majority of people. It can have an impact on the LDL or bad cholesterol causing weight gain or obesity, diabetes and damages to the tissues.
3. Monosodium Glutamate (MSG)
From potato chips to biscuits, soups to noodles and salad dressings to ready-made dip sauces, monosodium glutamate is used as a flavor enhancer. It does make the taste more pleasant to the taste but is very harmful. This may give great damages to your cells and possibly cause death. It generally affects the brain neurologically brain resulting to headaches, heart palpitations, nausea and also weight gain.
4. Sodium Sulfite
One of the common preservatives of snacks and processed foods and wine is this type of sodium salt of sulfuric acid. It also retains color even after some time. Regarded as a harmful ingredient, sodium sulfite can cause headaches, rashes, respiratory problems, such as difficulty in breathing, and cardiac arrest.
